Dubai International Airport is the world's busiest airport by international passenger traffic handling more than 75 million passengers in a year. Aesthetix was appointed by Dubai Airports to design and integrate control room solutions in their Airport Operations Control Room, which houses several teams managing the operations of the airport. Other solutions included digital signage for terminal reception areas and AV systems for their meeting rooms and executive management offices. NEC video wall solutions and displays were used with image processing solutions from RGB Spectrum and Matrox. Video Distribution was done using Extron Digital Video distribution systems.
The University of Dubai was established in 1997 by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) In 2016, the university moved into their new state of the art facility in Dubai Academic City on a 3 Million sq.ft. plot. Aesthetix was appointed by DCCI as the AV Integrator for this new facility. Solutions included presentation and conferencing technologies for the meeting rooms, class rooms, lecture halls, library, board room, case room, language and computer labs. Broadcast Infrastructure and Digital Signage solutions were also provided into the campus. Crestron Digital Media was deployed campus wide on ip backbone for media distribution and control systems. Lifesize Video Conferencing solution was used with Christie Brio collaboration. Biamp audio processing and Revolabs was used for the sound reinforcement. Lecture capturing is done using Sonic Foundry's Mediasite solution. Digital signage is being done using Onelan's digital signage solution. Digital projection system from Christie is used for video projection in all classrooms and lecture halls.
Hamad International Airport is the International Airport of Qatar, which became the first airport in Middle East to receive the '5 star airport' designation by Skytrax. Aesthetix was engaged in providing the Audio Visual Systems for the Terminal Operations Center and Qatar Airways Operations center. Presentation and collaboration systems were installed in the Meeting rooms, Conference rooms, Command Centre, Situation Rooms and Briefing Rooms. NEC Displays and projectors were used in the rooms along with Extron switchers and interfaces for video distribution. Audio distribution and processing was done via Biamp DSP and Crown amplifiers. Crestron Control System was provided in all the rooms for unified control of all devices via a dedicated touch panel.
The Dubai Mall is the world's largest mall by total area, attracting more than 90 million visitors in a year and is part of the US$20 Billion Dubai Downtown complex. Aesthetix provided the broadcast infrastructure throughout the mall for broadcasting live events from anywhere in the mall to the outside world. LED screens were provided on the link bridges for digital signage applications. Aesthetix designed and integrated the Audio Visual System for Sega Republic and Kidzania, consisting of 119” LED screen, 50” Displays, NEC Projector, Biamp Audio Digital Signal processors, Crown Amplifier and JBL Speakers, and show control from Alcorn McBride. Aesthetix was nominated as the finalists for Inavation Europe awards for the Sega Republic project.
Meydan Racecourse is the venue for Dubai World Cup, the world's richest racing day with over US$ 26.25 million in prize money. Aesthetix was engaged by Meydan to design and install the first HD Broadcast facility in the world for its debut World Cup. Aesthetix worked on a tight schedule with 200 personnel deployed on site to finish the project on time. 200 SMPTE Points and 200 Triax points were installed for the broadcast infrastructure.TV Boxes are distributed for cameras to connect a minimum two SMPTE, two Triax and two OpticalCON quad connectors. The longest cable run for the project was 2 km, and to achieve it joints had to be made to get the cable to the camera tower. The Broadcast infrastructure is mainly uo cover the races with cameras for the stewards and judges, to feed the media (for this 100 camera boxes are provided supplying connectivity to more than 250 cameras from 400 points) and to cover off season events.
Marriott Al Forsan is a 400 room five star hotel, part of Al Forsan International Sports Resort, an internationally recognized and world class sports and leisure destination located in Abu Dhabi. Aesthetix was involved in providing all the major Information and Communication Technologies required for this facility. Scope of works included Network Infrastructure, Security Systems, Guest Room Management Systems, Audio Visual Systems, Public Addressing Systems, Telephony, IPTV systems and Digital Signage Solutions. Cabling Systems from Siemon was used with HP active components. Bosch security systems were used for the surveillance and access control systems. Guest Room management systems from ABB was deployed in all the 400 rooms.
